Some of the most experienced and adept warriors of the svirfnebli state, a company of elite guards called called the Stoneshields, patrol the palace tunnels, ensuring the safety of their beloved royal family from assault if somehow enemies were to penetrate the Northern Checkpoints and enter the city.
