 couts out of Aluhryn are believed to have found recent signs of kobold infestation in the Western Wilds just outside the drow city, and have concluded that there must be some kind of kobold outpost or encampment nearby. Coupling this with tales told by their kobold slaves of the realm of the great kobold king Sknash, the drow leaders guess that the kobold domain is probably deep beneath the Wilds, in tunnels and passages dug deep into the rock. Thus far, however, no organized drow force—neither the soldiers of the noble houses nor slavers out of Bregan Ma'thre—have found King Sknash's hidden base. Perhaps the drow leaders would reward an explorer who succeeded in this goal... or perhaps not.
